Dr. Anne Gordon

As a provider at Chicago Chiropractic Center in Chicago’s South Loop, Anne Gordon, DC, is a chiropractic physician experienced in a number of innovative techniques for improving the total health and wellness of patients. Dr. Gordon has received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries and is certified in motion palpating, sacro occipital, and flexion distraction techniques, as well as acupuncture.
Dr. Gordon values the power of chiropractic techniques when used in combination with physical, massage, and craniosacral therapies, as well as good nutrition. She also focuses on the many benefits of integrative medicine, such as stem cell therapy, to address chronic pain in the shoulders, back, and neck.
Earning her bachelor’s degree in both business and psychology at Ithaca University in New York, Dr. Gordon also received a bachelor’s degree in human biology from the National College of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, where she later achieved her doctor of chiropractic. Her internship at their on-campus outpatient clinic and at additional private practices led to Dr. Gordon’s completion of a postgraduate diplomate program in rehabilitation at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.
A Connecticut native, Dr. Gordon has called Chicago home for more than 22 years and has lived in the Loop for much of the time. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment that addresses both the chiropractic care and the wellness needs of each patient through customized treatment plans.

Cheryl Barcas, ATC, studied athletic training at University of South Carolina-Aiken before finishing her Bachelor of Athletic Training at Concordia University Wisconsin in 2008. At University South Carolina-Aiken, Cheryl played 4 years of NCAA volleyball. She started her career with Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers working with high school athletes on preventative care, physical therapy, and a as first responder on the field. Some schools include Addison Trail High School, Metea Valley High School, and Lockport Township High School. She worked with patients in the clinical setting on corrective and strength exercises, and with the work conditioning program preparing patients for return to a manual job. Here at Chicago Chiropractic Center, Cheryl has worked with patients on Accelerated Recovery Performance (ARP) Therapy, Laser Therapy, active physical therapy protocols, home exercise programs, active strength programs, electrical muscle stimulation, and ultrasound. Recently, Cheryl has taken over as Case Manager for regenerative medicines including Stem Cell and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections. Cheryl takes care of managing patients from beginning to end to schedule, answer any questions, and direct the patients into therapy. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys taking her dog out for hikes in the forest preserve and playing volleyball.
